*Formed into 98, WRENSH is a Hardcore-Punk Rock and Roll band, from Annemasse (74), influenced by groups such as Sick of it all, Agnostic Front, Black flag, The Bronx, S.O.D, F-Minus, D.R.I, Zeke, R.D.P, Bad brains, The Misfits, Minor Threat but also Slayer or Motorhead. The music is fast, short, intense and direct, well in the vein of this very important musical current of the beginning of the Eighty and which rises directly from the English punkrock. After several changes of bass player (Valé/Skaotiks “our specialized teacher” and Samir/Motocross “the king of the tempo”), WRENSH stabilizes, in 2002, with Gael, defector of Crankcase (punkrock band from annemasse) and tries, as much as possible, to be made discover of the public, through the noise which leaves the baffles of the concert halls.
WRENSH recorded “ire-the demo” (6songs-6min-27sec) at Smelly Room studio (Geneva) held by T.V.O (Nostromo, Knut…) in 2000. One 1st recording which lasted 6 hours, mixing and mastering included. Steph, Tosh and Samir constituted the line-up of it.
In 2002, WRENSH is again turned over to Smelly Room studio to sleep on tape “BULLSHIT ATTITUDE” (16news songs + ire-the demo-22min-22sec), the whole in one day and half. On this disc, Valé replaces Samir with the 4 strings.
Finally in 2005, WRENSH finds, with the greatest pleasure and for the 1st time under its new line-up (encore!!!hé oui!!!Gaël replaces Valé left to England), the joys and the horrors of the studio.
But this time, with Side Records (studio annemassien). In one day, WRENSH puts in limps the 22 titles that “COZINHA TRADICIONAL” will compose (19min-57sec). Pure sound butchery.
WRENSH thus has, since these beginnings, cross iron (or rather the “metal”) with groups such different in the hardcore, punk, rock and roll, noise, grind, ska, metal style that YA BASTA, NO ONE IS INNOCENT, DOPPLER, MOTOCROSS, ONE DIMENSIONAL MAN, NOISE SURGERY, TANG, SHUNT,
