Ídolos del Extrarradio “Quién necesita amor, teniendo una pistola”
Thirteen songs around 35 minutes. First band’s work, recorded on “Drive Division” in Santander and “a1 Mastering” in Madrid.
A really original punk rock recording nowadays. It’s a very simple reason, just hearing it is enough to understand, all songs are interesting.
Presented in superjewel box format with an original artwork that includes their lyrics on Spanish and English.
In their songs you can feel influences of historic punk scene, new wave and pop music from the end of 70’s to earlie 80’s, mixed with some post hardcore details as Husker Du, Mission of Bhurma or E-330. It’s obvious that with these influences they have an interest in today’s english bands as Futureheads, Maximo Park or Arctic Monkeys.
The voices/lyrics sound personal, characteristic. They sing in Spanish, and their lyrics takes a big step apart from the standards. Surrealism, love and gunfires… reality anyway.
It’s a strongly experienced band. Their members were in hardcore, punk and rock bands. (Mairollosnouta/ Fuzzio y los Sucios / Los Rumps / Los Mirindas)
